In this skincare layering guide, we'll discuss each step in the LAB.OTANICA ritual to help you achieve healthy and radiant skin. Remember that your personal ritual is able to be totally personalized! You can use as many of the products as you choose or narrow it down to a few cult favorites. At a minimum, we recommend a hydrating cleanser, toner, and a luxurious moisturizer; then, you can add in steps as you see fit to reach your individual skin goals. Layering skincare shouldn't feel complicated and confusing. Once you understand the process of layering skincare actives, the process will become intuitive.

Tips for Layering Skincare
If you're brand new to skincare and looking to begin a daily regimen, a good rule of thumb to keep in mind is that you'll want to apply your products based on their consistency after you cleanse your face. Start with the lightest products (like a toner mist, and move towards the heaviest products, like a luxurious face oil.)
It's also a good idea to remember to moisturize as a final step when layering skincare products. All of your special serums with ingredients that target specific skincare concerns should be applied before you moisturize so that those active skincare ingredients can fully absorb into the skin. The moisturizer will help to lock them in so that they can work their magic.
LaB.OTANICA Skincare Layering Order
Step One: Cleanse
Every great skincare routine starts with a cleanse. Before you begin, don't forget to wash your hands as well. LAB.OTANICA offers two incredible cleansers to choose from: Revelation Bi-Phase Rose Cleansing Oil and Clearity Micellar Cleansing Floral Water. You can choose either of these cleansers or use both for the ultimate double cleanse.
Clearity Micellar Cleansing Floral Water is formulated with ylang-ylang and chamomile flowers to help soothe the skin while removing dirt, makeup and impurities.
These powerful botanical ingredients are known to have antibacterial properties and can help to boost skin regeneration and regulate the oil production of your skin. For a deep clean that really penetrates the pores and draws out dirt and impurities, opt for the Bi-Phase Rose Cleansing Oil. Formulated with rose oil and floral water, it will cleanse your skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Powerful botanical ingredients include sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, calendula flowers, and of course sensual roses! These ingredients can help to boost collagen production while hydrating, cleansing, and healing the skin. This oil is charged with amethyst crystals which help to increase intuition, reduce stress, and stimulate the skin.
To use Bi-Phase Rose Cleansing Oil, first remember to shake up your bottle. Since it's formulated with all-natural ingredients, there can be separation. Give the bottle a good shake, and then pump the oil into your palms before massaging your face, neck, and eyes in a circular motion to remove makeup and dirt. You can place a clean washcloth soaked in warm water over your face for a few moments, allowing the heat to help the oil draw impurities from deep within your pores, before wiping it away.
Step Two: Tone
After you've washed your face, it's time to apply your Clear-Voyant Facial Toning Mist. This clear-voyant facial toning mist is known to balance congested, blemished, and inflamed skin with its flower-powered tonic. Step Three: Apply Specialty Products and Serums
Once you've cleansed and toned, it's time to apply products that are full of skincare actives to target specific skincare concerns. LAB.OTANICA offers a multi-tasking duo of products that serve to both moisturize and target specific skincare concerns.
For under eyes, apply Visionary De-Puffing Eye Elixir.This lightweight yet luxurious EYE ELIXIR is designed to moisturize and alleviate fatigued, dull, puffy, and tired delicate skin around the eyes. It features a blend of botanical lightweight oils, including SEA BUCKTHORN OIL, AVOCADO OIL, and ARGAN OIL infused with chamomile flowers.
